Woodlands guest house is situated in the heart of the Garden Route which is home to some of the best golf courses in South Africa. Some renowned golf courses in the area include Fancourt, Oubaai, Pinnacle Point, Simola and Pezula. 

CYCLING

The Garden Route has some of the best mountain biking trails in the country. The George area itself has over 500km of trails in and around the Outeniqua mountains. Woodlands has two mountains bikes at guests disposal. 

HIKING

There are many breath taking hikes in and around the Garden Route. Hiking routes cater for all levels and viewing interests. Hikes can be found up to various mountain peaks such as George peak, Craddock peak and Vensterberg. There are also a number hikes with flatter terrain which run along the ocean and through forests. 

BEACHES

There are a variety of different types of beaches in the Garden Route which cater for a variety of different activities such as surfing, fishing, swimming, long walks and sun bathing.
